Shipping & Returns.

We offer free delivery on total orders above £70 for mainland Wales, England and Scottish Lowlands. The total price excludes VAT, any offers, vouchers or promotions.

You can find all of our prices in the table below. Please note that these prices are subject to change based on your location and the nature of your order. You are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address details are correct and that you have provided the correct postcode. 

For mainland England, Wales and the Scottish lowlands we operate a next day delivery service. Orders placed before 1pm are normally delivered next working day. In busy periods (week run to Christmas) may take 2 days to process the order.

For the Scottish highlands and non-mainland UK it is a minimum two-day service. (Please note that in this areas delivery can take longer than the 48 hours, therefore we would suggest that customers chooose from our non-perishable selections as we cannot guarantee that our refrigerated products would still be in optimum condition upon delivery).

Orders are dispatched between Monday and Thursday (Bank Holidays are excluded). Please note that if you place an order after 1pm on a Thursday, your order will not be sent out until Monday of the following week.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Please also note that the shipping rates are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

Our service requires a signature from you when your order is delivered. Orders will only be delivered to the address you have stated when placing your order. Viandas cannot be held responsible for any inaccurate addresses provided to us or for giving your authorisation for goods to be left in a safe place with our courier. We can instruct our courier to leave your order with a neighbour or other secure place where a signature can be obtained. If access to your property is difficult or unusual, you may also specify how they should enter. A box is provided for you to specify these instructions when completing your order.

In very rare circumstances we may not be able to fulfil your order. Should we experience any problems with the availability of your order, we will let you know as soon as possible. Whilst we will use all reasonable endeavours to meet the timescales of your spanish food delivery option we may sometimes experience delays because of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control and we therefore cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-delivery.

International orders

For all International orders, please contact us with your order so we can quote for delivery.

Missed delivery

Our courier will leave a card explaining they have attempted to deliver your goods.

The card will show the contact telephone number for the nearest local delivery depot and the tracking number for the goods. You will need to contact our chose carrier’s local depot to arrange a re-delivery of your goods.

You may choose an alternative working day and this delivery will still be free of charge. You can also collect your order from the carrier's depot or select another working day. You will need to contact the carrier to arrange this. Both collections from the depot and alternative working day delivery date are free of charge. In certain circumstances the courier may leave your parcel with a neighbour if a signature has been obtained.

Your parcel will be returned to us if you have not contacted us within 5 days of the 1st attempted delivery. As such, we regret that in these cases we will have to pass on the £12 charge, plus another delivery cost for redelivery if required.We can’t refund or replace items when our couriers have attempted delivery and there is no signature.

Returns and Refunds Policy

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

Our products can be returned within 15 days of the original purchase of the product.

To be eligible for a return, please make sure that:

  • The product was purchased in the last 15 days

  • The product is in its original packaging

  • The product is not used or damaged

Products that do not meet these criteria will not be considered for return.

If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. We will respond quickly with instructions for how to return items from your order.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping charges

Shipping charges incurred in connection with the return of a product are non-refundable. 

You are responsible for paying the costs of shipping and for the risk of loss of or damage to the product during shipping, both to and from Viandas Spanish Deli.

We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

Damaged items

If you received a damaged product, please notify us immediately for assistance.

Sale items

Sale items can be refunded.
